It is just finished the blogtour dedicated to the discovery of green Irpinia, but Insolita Italia is already ready for another tour to discover the Amalfi Coast.
In fact, the Amalfi Coast is a place very rich in breath-taking landscapes, dominated by a luxuriant nature and characterized by the presence of a heritage of high artistic-cultural value.
The Insolita Italia team will go from today and until October 11 to the wonderful Amalfi Coast, place of great naturalistic beauty and treasure chest of culinary traditions and typical products that have made these places famous all around the world, giving birth to a tour that combines food and local traditions, discovering the ‘tricks of the trade’ and everything represents an inestimable cultural heritage of the zone of the Amalfi Coast.
Obviously, the tour will stop in some of the most beautiful places of the Amalfi Coast.
In particular, they will visit Cetara to assist to the process of production called Colatura di Alici (anchovy syrup) and to have a dinner at Pasquale Torrente in the famous restaurant ‘Il Convento’.
The second stop will be Amalfi. Here the Insolita Italia team will visit the historical Paper Mill of Amalfi and will take part into an original Lemon Tour, an experience among the lemons of the Coast with cooking classes of lemon-based recipes.
In fact, a wonderful private ownership on a terrace of lemons and cuisine on terrace will be the location for the preparation of the recipe and the lunch (made with pasta Antonio Amato). Instead, in Maiori, the Insolita Italia team will assist to the preparation of the ‘Mulignana cu’ a ciucculata’ (eggplant with chocolate), typical dessert of this place, to arrive then in the evening to the wonderful Vietri.
The following stop will be Paestum, with the inevitable visit to the Archaeological Park. Instead, the lunch and the afternoon will be dedicated to the visit and the discovery of the buffalo mozzarella and other tasty products at the cheese factory Barlotti.
Finally, the last day of the tour will stop in Salerno: here the Insolita Italia team will visit the Pasta Factory Antonio Amanto and then will discover the town of Salerno with lunch at ‘Je, Tu e Iss’ and visit to the symbolic places of the town.

Simona is founder and author of BIANCAVANIGLIA, a blog that deals with food and creativity (craft, DIY and décor). She tells us that the university of architecture has opened her mind at 360°.
